A long time friend (I won’t say old friend and neighbor) sent me a message recently about how much she enjoys a little painting that she has of mine. It’s one that I did not long after I started painting. Many of you know I didn’t start painting until I was 29. Barbara got this one before I moved from Kentucky where I was living when I discovered that I could paint. (Thanks Bob Ross!) It was a wonderful surprise to receive a message from Barbara saying that she still enjoys looking at this little piece every day. Thanks Barb for making my day.

We have kids classes every Wednesday at 4:15 at The Studio. Contact kwalker@kellywalkerstudios.com if you want to have your young artist come join us.

We painted a little Koi pond with Lily Pads. Sometimes it’s fun to do something a little different. Great work everyone! If you want to get creative come join us for art class on Wednesdays at 10:30 or 5:30 or Thursdays at 2 pm. See more info here.
