Georges Seurat was born on this day in 1859. He was a French painter and draftsman. His large work “Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte” is his most famous painting and it changed the direction of modern art by initiating Neo-impressionism and a style of painting called Pointillism. Mermaid Tail with headband

It’s a Mermaid Tail! All it needs is a little girl to bring it to life.
We have been seeing all sorts of mermaid and shark tails lately crocheted as “lap throws” for both kids and adults. So here is a mermaid version I worked up with a shell stitch to help it look like scales. I don’t have a girl to pose with it but you get the idea. SOLD!
