While I didn’t paint much over my vacation I did do quite a bit of crocheting.  Here are the hats that I made that will be available at Delilah’s should you need a warm, fashionable hat during this cold weather.  It’s very satisfying to put colors and textures together to come up with new hats.

Tomorrow, a special order cupcake hat.  🙂

A New Year

Jed and Lincoln join me in wishing you all a very happy new year.  We know that 2011 will be a good one for all of us.

We also want to say a special thank you to everyone who has followed our blog this year.  We had almost three times as many hits in 2010 as we did the year before thanks to all of you.

We will continue to try to enhance this blog as we continue painting and creating everyday.  Please follow along with us.

Ps.  Lincoln says he’ll keep things exciting too.  Stay tuned.

Lincoln loved the snow and ran around in circles on the deck until he finally tired out.

Jed convinced him that tug-of-war was just as much fun as running in circles.

Christmas Memories

A great photo of my niece Morgan, with my boys, Jed and Lincoln, and her little guy, Tam.

Heidi

Heidi is a watercolor measuring 11″x14″.  She belongs to a friend in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and was commissioned by the daughter as a gift for Christmas.

Allen’s Favorite

Allen loves chocolate chip cookies so I painted this one for him for Christmas.  It is an oil on gallery wrap canvas measuring 10″x10″.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!

Crochet

Don’t forget that Delilah’s has beautiful items made in Virginia for everyone on your last minute holiday list.  Come by and see us Thursday and Friday from 11-5.  We will be closed Saturday for Christmas.

Winter Trees

Winter Trees is an oil on canvas measuring 6″x8″ and is available at Delilah’s.

Puppy Hat

Morgan, my niece, loves to wear hats almost as much as I do.  I sent her several recently but while she was visiting this weekend I made this one for her.  It’s her puppy hat!

She even let Lincoln try on one of her hats.  He was not impressed.
