We have several fun sewing projects coming up at The Studio soon. We love using the Shoe Bag when traveling to protect our shoes and our clothes in the suitcase. And what about this super cute Bucket Hat?! Make it in a variety of colors and make one for every member of the family! And how about these cute little zipper bags that are great for so many uses. Make one to hold your crochet hooks…or to put your loose items in your purse….or for a variety of items. You can make them in almost any size. These are terrific projects to use yourself and they make great gifts. Watch for these classes to be scheduled soon at The Studio.

While I didn’t paint much over my vacation I did do quite a bit of crocheting. Here are the hats that I made that will be available at Delilah’s should you need a warm, fashionable hat during this cold weather. It’s very satisfying to put colors and textures together to come up with new hats.
Tomorrow, a special order cupcake hat. 🙂

Been busy crocheting since the weather got a little cooler a few weeks ago. I’ve made several hats…..and scarfs…and baby hats, etc. Here is a sampling of the blue hats I’ve done.

We have many beautiful crocheted and other handmade items at Delilah’s at 105 East Main Street in Front Royal, VA. Keep us in mind as you shop for the holidays. 🙂

Yes, I’m still crocheting. I know it stopped snowing but I can’t stop crocheting. It’s like an obsession. I don’t know what to do about it. But I’m having fun so I guess I shouldn’t stop yet.
Here is a bucket hat in blue….
And a Floppy Hat in Grey and a
great travel hat in light brown.
And I had an order for a Mother and Daughter Hat that I made in this beautiful rose color. Now they have been shipped off to the east coast.

And then I got carried away with slippers again…
These are Virginia Tech colors. I plan to send a pair to our granddaughter at Tech.
Now I’m working on University of Virgina colors.
There are also these beautiful variegated girly color slippers that I had to make. I just love this yarn. It works up so pretty.
And then there are the coffee cup sleeves because you never know when that coffee or tea will be too hot and you can whip this right out of your purse and save the day! Ha!
So as you can see the obsession continues…..
