I just got a couple of quilts back from the longarmer. I was excited to finish this one…made with Moda’s Farmstead panel. It is so cute with all the farm animals. It’s not huge, just 52″x52″ but it is so adorable we wouldn’t be able to stand it if it was bigger. LOL!

Yesterday we painted two more farm animals in our series. (See the first two here.) The Goose and Sheep turned out great! These will make a beautiful grouping….and next month we will add two more. On November 17th at 2 pm we will paint a Cow and a Pig. Click here for more info and to register. Because we have a small group painting this week, and all of them are veterans of Art Camp, we are moving right along in our plan to paint as many farm animals as possible. Yesterday we completed two! We had time on Monday to do the background for one so it made it easy to get an extra one done. So now we have a goose (or duck) and a Rooster to add to our Farm Animal series. Wonderful!
