Everyone got so much done at the retreat….and some showed us what they got done since the last retreat. Beautiful work everyone! We love seeing all the creativity. What a great retreat this was!

To say we had a great time at Stitch & Bitch VII would be a huge understatement. This group of stitchers made beautiful projects while having fun playing games and winning prizes. It would be hard to describe all the things we did, all the delicious food we ate, and all the laughs we had. I can’t remember when I laughed so much. We are all looking forward to the next one in April.

Jelly Roll Rug

Finally finished a jelly roll rug that I started some time back.  A lot of fun to make but a little more time consuming than anticipated.  Love the way it turned out though.

20170721_064157The final painting for this session of art camp was Picasso’s Rooster.  The young artists wrapped up the Modern Art Camp session with this colorful painting….and they loved it!  They turned out great!  Fun working with this group all week.  They are very good painters.

Crocheted Rag Rug

For several weeks on and off I have been working on this rag rug.  I finished it last night.  It’s made from old sheets.  Here’s a photo with a chair to give  you an idea of the size.
