Back to work on the old truck. Now that I have the truck laid in where I like it I have started on the background. The sky was very blue the day I took the photo but I don’t want it to overwhelm the main focus of the painting, the truck. So I lightened the sky a little.
And added some puffy clouds.
And the mountains in the distance….

The Studio 
Absolutely surreal. I love your old truck. I must be a minimalist, as I think I actually like the second layer of paint more than the third,
as it is reminiscent of dust bowl days (photography) in it’s austerity. The old truck floats across the desert, like the desert is embedded in the sky & the truck simply floats in time.
