Yesterday I worked on a Yo-Yo project or the upcoming class. The Yo-Yo quilt was a popular style of quilt making in America from the 1920-40s. These small tiny circles of fabric were gathered and sewn together to create a three-dimensional effect. Then, as now, Yo-Yo quilts are popular because women can carry small pieces of fabric with them and make Yo-Yos whenever they have a little free time.
On April 1st at 10 am we will learn a quick and easy way to make nicely shaped Yo-Yos that are perfect for quilts as well as embellishments for covers, table runners, bags and more. Join us at The Studio for this fun and informative class.
The fee of $35 includes tools needed to make Yo-Yos as well as fabric to make practice Yo-Yos. You’ll leave with the skill to make whatever Yo-Yo project you like! Click here to register.
